Cuba is a magical place that, in many ways, is stuck in the past. This has its benefits in the form of untarnished culture and charm but the downside is that there are few systems in place to protect both the guest and the proprietor (us).

As such, we strongly encourage having travel insurance in the unlikely case that anything goes wrong but we cannot accept any liability for property stolen or injuries incurred on the property itself. We have locks on doors, safes in each room and security cameras, plus Havana is a safe city. We encourage you not to bring too many valuables with you although, of course, some forms of communication with the outside world are necessary.

In terms of payment, we require the full amount upfront and an understanding that guests will pay for any damages they incur.

We apologize for sounding overly cautious but it is our job to make sure you have a wonderful time and leave Cuba with the fondest of memories and a semi permanent smile on your face. We are sure you will.
